Sean Tyas, a New York native, now residing in Switzerland, brings to the dancefloor a mix of melodic harmony and driving groove that is sure to be just as effective on the legs as it is on the heart.

He got his start in 1999 with his first set of turntables and started to learn how to mix music. But for him, this was not enough. In the coming couple of years, he put together a studio and began producing records as well. By the age of 22, he had already remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Moby,Daniel Bedingfield and Christina Milian, because at that time in New York, as an aspiring producer, that was the work on offer. It wasn't long before he had an offer to leave everything behind in USA and move to Germany, working full time in Cologne under Beam-Traxx, which ended up serving him perfectly with extra self training, due to an everyday studio job.

Moving to Europe proved to be a great move for Sean, doing all production for DJ Beam in Germany and building his experience as a studio producer. Eventually Sean decided to step away from Germany and over to Switzerland, concentrating much more on his own productions and remixes. "Mirella" was the product of this exodus, as it was promptly signed to Afterglow Recordings, seeing John Askew and Dave Joy remixes. This led to a follow-up remix of Duderstadt - Muhanjala, which has seen almost every playlist of any trance DJ that year,including Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk.

The latest chapter in the Jon O'Bir story, his first debut album signed to Vandit after seemingly impressing Paul van Dyk (i can't imagine what
with?). He's come a long way from bedroom DJing in his early years, to a Godskitchen Residency in 2002 through to his first production with
Gareth Emery in 2004. Steady progress has resulted in the creation of his first label 'Conspiracy' with Activa in 2005 and his first solo production in the same year.

Onto the album!...

Decent introduction with 'Can You Hear Me' sequenced into the slower 'Taken' with those chord stabs that sound like something Armin used to
spin a couple of years ago, the name has eluded me!. In comes the tougher 'Ascendancy' from 2006, instantly reminding me of Giuseppe Ottaviani,
sort of a cross between 'Linking People' and 'Until Monday'. Sunrise is definitly one of the standout tracks from the album, simple, yet hearty
and filling leading into a trainwreck of a track with 'Tell Me' featuring the god awful Emila Carmichael (i couldn't find any other work she's done).

Teaming up with Activa on 'Sparc' for a punchy kick and a driving melody we slow it right down for 'Inflexion', something to forget quickly. We're
into the second vocalist now, Lizzy parks (i literally wish i was into her, she's hot! [Для просмотра данной ссылки нужно зарегистрироваться] ) and it's
a decent effort, poor vocal mastering from Rob and Jon though, just doesn't seem finished.

'All That Matters' is another of the standout tracks from the album before we bump into another vocal performance from Emila on 'Do It All Again',
much better than the first attempt. 'Ways And Means' follows up, undoubtably THE track of the album, and certaintly one of the best euphoric
trancers of 2008. It would have been nice to hear more of 'I Need You', it has potential and we barely get a chance to hear 'Dreaming' before we're
into 'Within', my second favourite after 'Ways And Means'.

All in all, a short album at over 60 minutes long with every track co-produced with Activa.

CD2, Mauro Picotto Past & Present - 10 years of Classics and Remixes, showcases some of Mauro’s biggest tracks to date, with remixes and edits by Mauro, his team of likeminded studio manipulators and others. Including the original mix of Iguana and a brand new remix of Lizard for 2008, two of the tracks which helped establish Mauro’s early career. Building through Fonzerelli’s remix of last year’s club smash Evribadi and Smith & Selway’s remix of Maybe, Maybe Not. As well as showcasing some of Mauro’s killer new tunes including the beautifully uplifting, The Kite and Contaminato.

Over the 5 years there have been several Meganite compilations and this season sees this very special version appearing on the BIG IN IBIZA label (with other key artists joining Mauro Picotto including Jonathan Ulysses, Fonzerelli, Tito Puente Jnr and more). 2008 will be yet another milestone in Mauro Picotto’s career and the Meganite parties will be unforgettable!

One year after the overwhelming success of the debut his album ”Another Day On The Terrace”, which was a steady release for a long period in several stores globally and it even reached the number 1 position on iTunes, Roger P. Shah delivers another great album under his Sunlounger guise!

”Sunny Tales” has become a compilation with, like the title gives away, sunny records with lush melodies and beautiful vocals which bring out the summer in you. The journey to the sun starts with the hypnotizing guitar intro of the title track ”Sunny Tales” and takes you to the sun-touched, Spanish influenced ”Balearic Breakfast”.

Roger P. Shah has been producing, commercial minded, tracks since 1995. Until just a few years ago, when he decided he wanted to develop himself into a dance music composer. After several releases Armada Music contacted him to start cooperating on his releases. This resulted in a top 5 chart hit, in the Dutch singles chart, with his track ”Going Wrong”, the collaboration of him with the number 1 DJ of the world, Armin van Buuren.

”Sunlounger - Sunny Tales” is a double pack, just like Sunlounger`s last years album ”Another Day On The Terrace”, with on CD1 the original, lounge versions of all the tracks to listen to on your way on vacation, on the beach or even in traffic jam to feel a little bit of sunshine. On CD two you will find the dance versions of these tracks, to get you in the ultimate summer mood.
