The name Mike Dierickx might not instantly ring a bell. But once we start talking about M.I.K.E., Push, Plastic Boy, Absolute or one of the other 60 aliases he guised his productions under, you know we’re talking about one of the best producers the trance scene has to offer. Some of the tracks by Belgian producer/DJ M.I.K.E. have grown out to legendary classics, like ‘Universal Nation’ and ‘Strange World’ under his Push guise. With almost 15 years of producing and DJ experience behind him, 6 albums in his discography and an unstoppable drive to bring his sounds to the masses, the new Trance World, Volume 6, has found a worthy follow-up mixer for John O’Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Signum, Robert Nickson and Aly&Fila.

M.I.K.E. selected some of his personal favourites and blended them into a this flowing mix. ‘Trance World Volume 6’ contains the freshest releases trance has to offer, by producers like Jaytech, Rex Mundi, Armin van Buuren, Rank 1, Signalrunners, Sebastian Brandt and many more. For the album, M.I.K.E. made a special anthem track, ‘Trance World’, making this album extra special. In sequence to his previous dedicative compilations, number 8 DJ of the world Markus Schulz brings 2009 an expression of his sounds from beloved city Toronto. Right after Miami '05, Ibiza '06 and Amsterdam '08, Markus has made a fresh selection of progressive, trance and everything beyond, and put them on his fully mixed album, Toronto '09.

The previous editions received more than just a warm welcome by fans and EDM lovers, as his Amsterdam '08 was recently nominated for 'Best Full Length DJ Mix' at the International Dance Music Awards in Miami. But besides that, Markus Schulz' name has been rising in many other ways during 2008. Next to being voted number 8 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100, he made a fashionable mix-album for Armani Exchange and has his second Essential Mix on Radio 1, his radioshow Global DJ Broadcast reached out to 10 million weekly listeners through over 20 radiostations worldwide, Markus' record label Coldharbour Recordings celebrated its 50th release and he held residency at some of the world's renowned clubs such as Club Amnesia at Ibiza and Ministry of Sound in London. Markus Schulz is fir and ready for another year, and another compilation album.

Toronto '09 is a special selection of deep progressive and warm melodic trance, which represents the characteristic Markus Schulz sound so many love. Unreleased, brand new, freshly squeezed tracks by young talents, undiscovered heroes and some of the biggest names in today's dance scene.
