Caustic Records presents Der Blaue Reiter, long awaited new project of Sathorys Elenorth (Narsilion, Lugburz, Ordo Funebris) inspired by warlike ambiences impregnated with an apocalyptic martiality, where powerful percussions and majestic neoclassic passages are the protagonists of this new work, more than an hour of melancholic music replete of feelings and deep pain … Feel how the crying of a cold war, legacy of the past, stir itself in the tops of destruction of our last days, where the dreams are just a legend and the death is a dark reality … Industrial dark ambient for fans of Predella Avant, Sophia, Raison d'etre, Triarii and Les joyaux de la princesse…
When Caustic Records decided rewrites the excellent work that came filing in 2005 of the new draft Sathorys Elenorth, Der Blaue Reiter, have demonstrated a high sensitivity to leave freely in terms of additions, changes and modifications. 'Le Paradis Funebre' is, in his own words "conceptual work inspired by the invasion of Poland by the German army in 1939 and as a result of it the beginning of the Second World War". The changes include collaboration Lady Nott, his partner in Narsilion, violin and voice and Morpheus voice. But the main change is the new added, 'L'envers du Tristesse', a second part to 'Le Paradis Funebre', which enriches the whole disk and modifies the meaning, extending it and, above all, being a faithful example of the routes taken by the work of Der Blaue Reiter. Finally, the inclusion of an item 'bonus' pertencera his upcoming release,' Silencis', scheduled for next year.
The themes of Der Blaue Reiter are woven around classic pieces that inspire, inform and permeate initiated most of the songs. On many occasions cuts artists like Bach or Purcell are embedded within the subject and is difficult to know just where the composer and where he began deconstructing and lengthening the shadow of Sathorys Elenorth. The characteristics that define this intrusion and subsequent conversion of the items are laden atmospheres synthesizers and percussion martial. But resources are innumerable Der Blaue Reiter: sounds from digital distortion waves, whispers, moans Samplers. In some cases, Der Blaue Reiter opts for the neoclassicism, the grandeur and warmongering. In others, is dedicated to creating layers of sound where the repetition consolidates environments, melodies desdibujdas, planincies barren and empty far as the eye. In others, such as' Into Heaven's Maze 'decide to use the two, making a metamosfosis internal matter.
Perhaps compositions that highlight whatever they include piano. They tend to be the match that barely use percussion (or not included at all). Surprisingly, the string instrument becomes an instrument sagrante wounded and full of sensitivity, while remains, as usual, somewhat distant. 'Words of Silence' and 'Garden of Solitude' are some of the best examples, where the beauty of the piano is bright. The entry of 'L'Envers du Tristesse ...' comes loaded with irony with the beginning of 'Regret', which has just weighing the threat and loneliness. The use of the voices of members of both Narsilion ago that although its composition is distant from those of its joint training, reminding it ends. However, eloquence and energy is very different.
The sound of the second part of the disc, still contains the element neoclassical, but grows into a dark ambient sounds full of post-industrial, and failing overlap. Curiously, do not choose to unify the two possibilities, creating layers of melodic sounds bases ruidistas, free or atosfericas as do other formations of dark ambient, but it presents the composition as if wrote a book: a chapter contains the element neoclassical, another chapter dark ambient, and at the end of the book, both are, irrefrenablemente confronted. 'We Funebre Paradise ... L'Envers du Tristesse 'proves to be a working adult, which consolidates the proposal Sathorys Elenorth with Der Blaue Reiter on the search for a particular vision of the dark music, which baptizes' Apocalyptic Neoclassical Ambient'. Undoubtedly this launch underlines its composer quality and use of various resources in a wise and bewitching.
The theme being added as a bonus, 'Into heaven's maze' at the special version of Morpheus is absolutely exquisite. The melody is exacerbated abandoned and raped inside. The subject belongs to the marcialidad, percussion, voice flat and overlap. The construction aspires to accompany a military march, but just dissolved into darkness, decandecia and pain. The aftermath of the battle.
