Described by the Gothic magazine as “the best unsigned band of the moment”, Re:\Legion is a German duet integrated by Oliver Schmitz, who is in charge of the harmonic concepts, mixing, programming and additional voice, and Martin Cremers, who is in charge of the lyrics, harmonic concepts and voice.

They started composing songs since 2002, and some of these compositions were published in EBM (Electronic Body Music), trance and dark electro compilations. But it was not until 2007 that the official debut album, 13 Seconds, came out to light. This album has given them the opportunity to rise as one of the most important bands inside the EBM scene, and has also given them the opportunity to relate with other important and quality bands such as VNV Nation, Assemblage 23 or State of the Union.

They make a varied mixture of sounds, from pulsating and exciting beats, to calmer numbers such as Equinox or trance numbers like Trance: mission. Although musical models peep now and then around the corner, each song receives its own character and stays always independent.

So we have before us one of the most promising bands of the dark electronic scene, and with well elaborated themes, perfectly assembled lyrics, clear voices with sticky melodies this album is a definite addition to everyone who enjoys dark-cold club atmospheres on a dance floor.
