Great slow dark indie / noise rock. I caught these guys live a few times when I was in high school (I was going to write something like: 'before I was bald', or 'when I was still thin', but slim, handsome, and possessed of a fine head of hair as I am, I can say no such thing), before they became a far more mediocre, more country-rockin' version of themselves. This album is for the most part slow, plodding and degenerate (songs titles like 'Retarded Whore' might give you a hint) and centered around meaty bass-lines and off kilter guitar, though my personal favorite on this album, Sioux City, is a driving, higher tempo song. Check it out.
