Tribeqa - Tribeqa /2008 (march)

So basically this is their very first album. Eponym album actually. This band composed of 4 guys that only play instrument (I mean no vocals),get inspiration by Jazz and African music. Some of the member lived in Africa for a while. As a result there is that instrument: Balafon. I think that makes the whole things better.

So the music is kind of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Soul or Afro Beat. There is also a DJ. Some people are featuring that album like :
- the African Magic Malik (sing + flute), You may have heard him with Hocus Pocus (Tribeqa is also from the same place as Hocus Pocus: west of france).
- Dajla Lalia (singing),
- DJ Greem from Hocus Pocus (scratch)
- Geoffroy Tamisier from the band Mukta (trumpet).

You'll reconize some intrument like you have heard on the last album by Hocus Pocus. Since I think they have produced some track of DJ Greem's album (Place 54).
