Since 2002, the rock Argentinean female trio conformed by Naila Borensztein –(21) guitar / leading vocals-, Lara Pedrosa –(25) bass guitar / vocals- and Lucía Borensztein –(22) drums– have been playing many different venues in Buenos Aires, capital city of their home country. Among them, well-known theaters and stadiums, such as ‘Centro Cultural San Martin’, ‘Pepsi Music Festival’ at the legendary ‘Obras Sanitarias’ stadium, and the prestigious club ‘La Trastienda’. In several opportunities, they also performed live on ‘FM 95.9 Rock & Pop’, a major Argentinean radio station.NLS´s wide range of musical influences is reflected in the mixture of different styles and genres in each of their songs. Hence, it is almost impossible to pigeonhole them under any kind of specific definition. Live, they maintain the consistent and sharp sound characteristic of the band, which does not overlook poetry through their lyrics, some of them written in English.The official presentation of NLS´s first album, titled ‘No lo soporto’ (Spanish for ‘I can’t stand it’), took place in November 2006 at the beautiful ‘Centro Cultural Borges’, and it included such musical guests as Argentinean percussionist Fernando Samalea, and a violin and cello duet. ‘Cascaras de hombre’, ‘Insignificante’, ‘Fish’, ‘I can’t tell you’, ‘Hoy’ and ‘No se’ are some of the tracks that conform the LP.
