By their technically complex interpretation of traditional doom style, Confessor are well-known name within progressive metal circles.
Confessor split-up around 1993, when the band imploded during attempts to record a follow-up to their 1991 debut "Condemned", but reformed in 2002. However, 2005's "Unraveled" would eventually become their second album.
