Tree
I grew up on this band, and can't remember all the times I saw them live as a (relative) lil'un.
They played a great punk/hardcore mix, best exemplified by these two albums (later in their career they took a more rock and metal influenced turn which I enjoy less).
Tree was heavy, raw and energetic, and managed to incorporate libertarian/environmental/political lyrics while still without being preachy or forgetting to make their music fun.
Both these albums are awesome, but I prefer 'A Lot to Fear' for the heavier production and because it contains Try which gets me pumped to this very day, and for the yupyupyupyupupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyupyuppies! Call-out of the 60's generation on Negative Hippie.
