±?Y ?? ??±±  England which stretches from the Solway Firth into     ±±?Y ?Y ??±
°?Y ?? ????  the wastelands of the Northumbrian borders. This area  ???Y ?Y ??°
±?Y    ?UUU  is steeped in history and mystery. In particular, I    UUUY    ??±
?? U???U ?U  have focused on the development of Britains Cold War  U? U???U ??
UU??????U   intercontinental ballistic missile weaponry in the      U??????UU
??  UU °±??  late forties and fifties and which later became the    ??±° UU  ??
?? ?Y UU?   center for Britains space efforts. The idea that       ?UU ?? ??
°   ??   U?  these top secret research bases were sited here is     ?U   ?Y   °
°°  ??Y????  one of interest in itself. The area is historically    ???Y??Y  °°
??°  ?Y?±±±  renowned for its outlaws and geographical and          ±±±Y??  °??
