May 4 2008 Gordon Waddell WE may get fed up with some fans of our two main clubs still living in the 1600s but we should be grateful for small mercies - at least that's AD. Compared to Zenit St Petersburg's neanderthals the Old Firm are a model of tolerance. When Dick Advocaat tried to sign French star Mathieu Valbuena recently the first question he was asked was "Is he a negro?" Zenit have never had a single black player and Dick says the fans would not allow him to sign one. Unbelievable!
