OdeOnDreams is a young band -so much the average age of its members, as by the time of shooting that lead (just a couple of years)-, that in a short time, has made a dent in the musical scene from Malaga. With clear influences of the shoegazer, indie and post-rock sounds characteristic of the last decade, this band fruit of the Myspace Generation (wich doesn't need to sell thousands of discs "to triumph"), takes over the Do It Yourself spirit of the late seventies and get it to limit in these times. With a couple of home-made recordings, the band has visited several times the main rooms of concerts of their city, and have made known their music in places so shoot as for example: The hall of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Malaga (where they decided to play completely in the dark and the movie "The Elephant Man" by David Lynch projected on them as the only illumination), industrial warehouses rented to carry out private parties, high-capacity audiences, town squares and hardcore music festivals, among other places.
OdeOnDreams is emotion. Instrumental music that seeks the expressiveness not only in the chord changes, but also in volume, intensity and texture. Tension, calmness, strength, balance, pulse... are the words with which they could define their sound, characterized by the total absence of voices (as well as silences in their 40 minutes of performance) and the creation of sinuous and disturbing atmospheres. For now, they haven’t won any prize, they haven’t participated in any prestigious event, they haven’t played witn any "important band" and they have nothing more to offer than their music. A music that, if you want, you can listen it here and now.
