The story of Asteroid began in the winter of -03/-04 after an intense jam session. They released their first demo shortly there after. The band continued writing and released four new songs the following year, under the name “EP-05”. This release was recorded and mixed by Oz of TruckFighters. The band hit the road and played gigs all over Sweden and Norway. Now having established them selves as a GREAT live act the band started talking about recording an album. They met with Fuzzorama Records who quickly decided on a release with Asteroid. This resulted in the “Asteroid & Blowback” split-record, that was released in April -06. After some excellent reviews and gigs, the band went back to Bombshelter Studios to record their self-titled monumental debut album “Asteroid”.

With this record, which was released in May -07 also on Fuzzorama Records, the band went on tour in the UK and Finland. They continued with a German tour in November, this time with their friends in Graveyard. After spending a couple of months writing new material, they returned to Germany in May 2008 for another tour. But this time on their own...
