FreeXPie CD - это программный комплекс, умещающийся на одном CD, обладающий широкими загрузочными возможностями, и, несущий на борту полноценный и целостный набор подлинных (не "пиратских") win32-программ.

Загрузочный интерфейс
Загрузочное меню диска, не смотря на свою предельную простоту и интуитивность, доступно для работы даже на компьютерах, не имеющих установленной операционной системы или жесткого диска вообще. Оно позволяет загрузиться в среде FreeDOS для запуска ДОСовских приложений, например, чтобы восстановить BIOS. Именно поэтому freeXPie полюбился всем, кто хоть раз сталкивался с проблемой работы операционной системы.
Установщик
В новой версии Системы появился специальный Установщик, позволяющий в мгновение ока установить все необходимые приложения из комфортного меню. В его составе представлено около ста наиболее любимых нашими пользователями приложений. Если Вы никогда не слышали о той или иной программе, он подскажет Вам, что для чего нужно и поможет сделать правильный выбор.
Требования
Рекомендуемая ОС - Windows XP или 2003. Большинство программ так же будут работать на WIndows 2000, а если у вас Windows 95/98/ME, то я рекомендую, по возможноти, обновится хотя бы до Windows 2000. Также, вам потребуется x86-совместимый компьютер с процессором не хуже Intel Pentium III 550 mhz; Не менее 128 мегабайт оперативной памяти; не менее 4 мб видео и некоторое свободное место на HDD; cd-rom.
